Ntseki Linked With PSL Return After Chiefs Chapter

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki has had his name bandied about among those of coaches linked with clubs in the PSL, potentially for the second round of the 2024/25 season, the Siya crew has learnt.

Ntseki has been without a club for more than a year since parting ways with Chiefs in October last year.

While it has taken long for the 55-year-old to join a club after Amakhosi, he hasn’t been completely out of the game as he has been seen at some PSL matches though attending as a spectator, with the indications that he has been assessing his options regarding a potential next move.

As reports emerged in recent weeks that Richards Bay FC have had their coach Brandon Truter under pressure to change the team’s fortunes after a disappointing start to the season, sources close to the KwaZulu-Natal outfit have indicated that Ntseki’s name has come up among potential candidates for the role should the club decide to make technical team changes.

However, Richards Bay boss Sifiso ‘Jomo’ Biyela told the media last week at the NSL’s Quadrennial General Meeting in Johannesburg that there has been no need to replace Truter just yet, hoping for improvement in the team’s results after the FIFA international break.
